Dortmund – PSG Preview

Borussia Dortmund faces PSG at the Signal Iduna Park in a game from Group F of the Champions League. Let’s preview it in our accurate football predictions for tonight. 

After three consecutive wins in the group, Borussia Dortmund are at the top with 10 points won – three points ahead of the second PSG. For them this game is an opportunity to win the group, but only if they avoid losing against the French team. A draw or a win would guarantee them the first place. 

During the weekend Dortmund suffered a home defeat, though. BVB faced RB Leipzig at home, but the match ended with a 3-2 win for the visiting team. Sule and Fullkrug scored for the hosts, but at the end Leipzig scored one more. We shall say that Dortmund played most of the game with 10 men as Mats Hummels was sent off after just 15 minutes. 

Karim Adeyemi and Donyell Malen could return in the line-up against PSG. Both of them started from the bench against Leipzig. 

PSG are second in this group and they are still not sure about reaching the 1/8-finals – Newcastle are just two points behind. It means that Luis Enrique’s team could fell to third place in a certain scenario. 

During the weekend PSG claimed another win in the Ligue 1 – 2-1 against Nantes at home. It wasn’t easy as PSG had to wait until the 83th minute to win – that’s when Randal Kolo Muani scored the winner. Before him it was Bradley Barcola who opened the score. 

Ousmane Dembele started from the bench against Nantes, but we should expect to see him in the line-up against Dortmund. He’s an important player for the French champion.
